Grace Parish actively participates in a variety of mission
and outreach initiatives – both local and world-wide…
Have Church, Will Travel!
That’s the philosophy of the whole Grace Parish familly, and we have been privileged to be able to travel to several remote locations for holiday services.
On Easter Sunday and Christmas Eve, 2014, we celebrated with the residents, guests, and staff of Summit Place Assisted Living Facility, in Little River, SC. A large meeting room was transformed into a sanctuary for the event, and a Rite II service was held for each occasion.
For Christmas Eve 2015 and 2016, we were thrilled to celebrate the Eucharist at Mariner’s Pointe clubhouse – also located in Little River, SC. Music for this special event was provided by Jim “Coop” Cooper and his group, and their meeting room was converted into a beautiful holiday sanctuary for the occasion. (See photo above.) The carols were wonderful, the sermon was breathtaking, and the day was very special for everyone in attendance!
